Fairview Medical Centre was is located at 37/39 Fairview Strand on the North side of the River Liffey (next to the Church at Philipsburg Ave).

Fairview Medical Centre was established by Dr. John Lappin in 1963 and Dr. Pat Lee & Dr. Peter Kelly Joined forces and became known as Lappin, Lee & Kelly's Practice. The practice later changed its name to Fairview Medical Centre following the addition of Dr. Ronan Cormican, Dr. Frank Broderick and Dr. Fiona McGlynn to the practice. In 2010 Fairview Medical Centre became a GP Trainers Practice.

Throughout its history, Fairview Medical Centre has embraced change, new ideas and new ways of working, whenever and wherever necessary to provide the highest quality care possible.

Hospital Consultants in various medical specialist areas visit our surgery monthly to meet with our Doctors on the latest developments in medical care and services at our local hospital. 

In 2006 major reconstruction was carried out on the surgery to moderinise and extend to seven consultatation rooms.

Fairview Medical Centre is currently using one of the leading GP clinical management software systems (operating a paperless practice) and electronically linked to the Mater Hospital and Beaumont Hospital for result management and more recently with the introduction of E-Referrals to the Mater further advancing the delivery of Doctor Patient Care e.g. offering a faster turn around in accessing secondary care services and accessing results.

Fairview Medical Centre is defined by high quality, its reputation going back many years and compassionate medical care. The primary focus, meeting the needs of the patient as the practice continues to evolve.

 In 2006 a major practice development was carried out and the surgery now consists of seven consultation rooms and all fitted with modern up to date medical equipment. In addition, due to IT developments we are now a paperless practice and electronically linked to the Mater and Beaumont Hospitals. The benefits of which have enabled us to provide a higher standard of care for our patients.
