Appointments
All week day surgeries are by appointment, which can be made by telephone or at reception. We generally can offer you an appointment on the day of request with one of our Doctors or Nurses. In our modern busy world, an appointment system facilitates many and we do our utmost to be as punctual as possible. Emergency services are provided through out the day. Unfortunately, emergency situations, very acute illnesses or distressed young children know no time clock and we ask for your patience and understanding if your appointment is delayed.
The following will also assist us in keeping clinics running smoothly and on time:
- Arrive in good time for your appointment, and please provide notice if unable to attend.
- To blood Test Appointments please ensure you have attended one of our Doctors before hand so that they can order which tests are suitable.
- Make a separate appointment for each person attending
- Try not to overload the consultation with multiple problems during a single visit, the doctor will usually try and prioritise the problems, some of which may require follow up visit.
- Please where possible state nature of appointment type when booking if not general consultation e.g. medical, travel vaccination, baby vaccination, special service, etc so that when booking appointment can be made at appropriate clinic and correct time reserved.
- Please do not answer mobile phone calls when checking in at reception as this can delay the time involved for checking in for your appointment and for other patients.
